Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TailorFit. By signing in or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

TailorFit is an AI-assisted job search tool that evaluates how well your profile matches a job description, generates tailored resumes and other career content, and helps you track applications. Output is generated by large language models and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it externally.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate sign-in information and keep it secure.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use TailorFit.

3. Plans, billing, and refunds

The Free plan includes a limited number of evaluations per month.

Paid plans (Starter, Plus, Pro) are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

Prices and features may change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Submit content you do not have rights to use, including third-party resumes or confidential job descriptions you are not authorized to share.

Use TailorFit to generate misleading or fraudulent content, including misrepresenting your experience, credentials, or identity to employers.

Attempt to extract another user's data, bypass rate limits, reverse engineer the service, or interfere with its operation.

Resell, sublicense, or expose TailorFit output as your own product.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to content you upload (resumes, artifacts, notes, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you, including sending it to AI providers (Anthropic) to generate the responses you request.

6. AI output disclaimer

TailorFit uses third-party large language models to generate evaluations, resumes, cover letters, interview prep, and similar content. AI output:

May be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased.

Is not professional career, legal, or financial advice.

Should be reviewed and edited by you before being submitted to employers.

7. Intellectual property

TailorFit, including the application code, design, and branding, is owned by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Termination

You can terminate your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to the service or other users.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will lead to any particular job outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to your use of TailorFit is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of TailorFit after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
